The Rolex Yacht-Master 40mm was originally created as a potential upgrade to the Submariner. Rolex feared modifying the iconic Submariner and frustrating the watch's legions of fans, so they created a new reference.
 
Fast forward to Baselworld 2016, and the 126622 was released with subtle upgrades to the previous reference. This particular configuration features a platinum bezel insert and sun-brushed silvery dial with ice blue accents.
