This gorgeous Cartier Calibre de Cartier Diver is a unique diver offering with the ADLC (Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon) finish. The ADLC finish gives the watch a cool “blacked out” effect. The ADLC finish reimagines the classy Cartier foray into sports watchmaking with a cooler, younger, sleeker finish without sacrificing the “bling” factor.
 
As it is primarily THE sports offering, House of Cartier opted for extra shock resistance and a double-barrel movement to maintain accuracy. But most interestingly, they skipped the oil in place of ceramic ball bearings: this means less maintenance and more wrist-time. If you never saw a Cartier diver watch, this is exactly what you’d imagine it would be: perfectly glossy knurled chrome bezel that sparkles in the sunlight, and bold Roman numerals keeping with Cartier’s 100-year-plus tradition of watchmaking.
